Zealot's Manuscript is an ultra-rarecard released on September 25th, 2022. It is a 3% drop from Sedrian, The Arcane Mentor. When used, all allies on the caster's team gain 2 bits. If the caster is afflicted by the Eternal Burn status effect or below 15% of their max health, the caster is refunded 1 bit.
Strategy[]
Zealot's Manuscript functions similar to Enlighten but has its perks that make it better in some situations. The most notable thing to remember when thinking about Zealot's Manuscript's utility is that using the card will give all allies 2 bits compared to Enlighten, which is single target (but grants one extra bit). The card only starts to have more support value when the team has 3 or more people that would get the 2 extra bits, where the bits spent to bits donated ratio starts to outrival Enlighten's 2:3 ratio. When under the effects of Eternal Flame, the output of Zealot's Manuscript is increased further, refunding a bit to the caster along with already giving two bits to every teammate, making it a good pick for any deck involving Burning Pledge.
For its usage on summons, while Enlighten is used to mainly give Mercenaries access to their Scimitar faster, Zealot's Manuscript is best used to expand the versatility of many summons at once. The more summons, the more effective the card is for summon decks.
This card is best used in a supportive role, due to its rather high bit cost and the fact that the caster themselves does not receive bits. The more people there are on a team, the more effective Zealot's Manuscript is. By using Zealot's Manuscript over Enlighten, the player can supply the whole team with 2 bits at the cost of an extra bit.
