Yeah, this is big brain time. Sharpens the mind of your team, giving them a +40% attack buff that gets reduced by 5% for each ally present. The Attack buff cannot be lower than 15%.

High Cognition is an ultra-rare card that is found within the Mystic Wisdom Card Pack. When casted, gives the entire team a 40% Attack buff that is reduced by 5% per ally present, with a Minimum of 15%.

Strategy

This card is essential in large teams as everyone gets a bonus buff. This is especially common in the Draun, Kishuf's End's battle as it can have 8 people in one battle, thus giving massive value for one bit (15% per ally). Common strategies tend to see players using multiple of these cards until they have 8 attack buffs each, then finishing with a card like Darksteel Longblade or Exploding Arrow to dispatch many enemies quickly.

High Cognition can be slightly compared to the cards Ramparts and Wild Roar, which have similar concepts, but apply a different kind of buff or debuff. Ramparts will give every ally on the users team a +30% defense buff, while Wild Roar will apply a -25% defense debuff to everyone on the enemy team, while also waking up any players.

High Cognition can also be somewhat compared to Attack Buff, which gives the same attack buff to only one chosen target. The difference between the two is that High Cognition needs a bit to use, and depends on how many allies are on the field, while Attack Buff is not.

High Cognition is best used for a summon strategy, like Survival or for Thaamoth, Hallowed Spirit, as the buff will cap at 15%.

History

• On July 24th, 2020, this card is no longer quickplay.
• On September 25th. 2022, this card was reworked and no longer gives a 25% buff to all allies, Instead it gives the team a 40% Attack buff that is reduced by 5% per ally present.
