Overview

Haste is a common effect card that costs 0 bits and gives everyone on the user's team the Swiftness effect for 7 turns, increasing every teammate and the caster's movement range by 1.

Haste can currently be obtained by exchanging 3 Dashes, 1 Magician's Secret and 15 Wraith Remnants to Malcom in Brokelight Lake.

Strategy

Haste is a very situational card as it allows everybody on the caster's team to be able to move an extra hex during movement. This works great on Guards as their movement is only 1 hex, so the Swiftness effect allows them to keep up with their opponent if they try to run. Another use of the card can be to quickly catch up to enemies that flee, especially those with an increased movement, like Draun, Kishuf's End. Haste doubles as an excellent turn filler- not only having a zero bit cost but also being quickplay, allowing for a follow-up card to be played after its usage. In team battles, it is recommended for the caster to alert their teammates that Haste is being used in order to make the most out of the increased movement range.

• On December 7th, 2021, the duration of the swiftness status effect this card applies was increased from 3 to 4 turns.
• On March 29th, 2022, the duration of the swiftness status effect was reduced from 4 turns to 3.
• On September 25th, 2022, the duration of the swiftness status effect was increased from 3 to 7.
