Current Methods	Using a Holiday Festivizer on a Pie Throw

Pie Throw is a common card that costs 0 bits, is quickplay, and deals 1 damage to the target.

Pie Throw used to be obtained by defeating The Jester along with Tasty Pie. It could also be obtained by trading a Nether Token with Yarkost when The Nether opened on July 23rd, 2019, as well as by defeating Crustum Perdita during the 2020 April Fools event. During the Circus of Curses 2021 event, it was obtained by trading 2 Egg Relics with Sneal (Event trader). It can now be obtained from the same trader every April Fools Event and is also found in Circus Party Bags.

If the target is a pie-related summon, such as Summoned Pie (Character) or a Jester In a Box, then it will deal 50 damage instead. This card is similar to Wisp and Wooden Sword.

The card was made unobtainable on April 2nd, 2019, when The Nether closed, but was made obtainable again when it reopened on July 23rd, 2019.

This card can be festivized with the Holiday Festivizer to obtain Festive Pudding Throw.

Strategy

Despite its appearance as a joke card, it still has a unique purpose. Being 0 bits and quickplay, it can be used to clear defense buffs on a target or attack debuffs from the user at no cost.

Unlike other 0 bit attack cards such as Wisp and Wooden Sword, Pie Throw is quickplay, allowing users to not only clear negative buffs and debuffs but also attack the target or do something else on the same turn.

Care should be taken as to make sure that it is not used on a target with defense debuffs or while the caster has attack buffs.

History

• On 12th April, 2019, Pie Throw was changed to be quickplay.
